Sara Socas is a Tenerife singer, rapper and composer born in Tegueste who moved from freestyle to her own musical career in rap and urban music.

Early life

Sara Socas Martín was born on 30 August 1997 in Tegueste, Tenerife. A singer, rapper, freestyler and composer, she started in freestyle in 2017 and studied Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in addition to playing guitar, piano and bass.

Historical role

She moved from street battles to a music career of her own: she relocated to Madrid in 2015, fought her first battles in 2017, appeared in Red Bull in 2019 and announced in 2023 that she was leaving competition to focus on singing, composing and instrumentation.

Legacy

She then moved on to TFN-MAD and singles such as All Star and Siente, turning freestyle into a launchpad for a stable catalogue of rap and urban music.
