What data may be processed
Normal browsing does not require creating an account or sending data through project-owned forms. Even so, technical data necessary to deliver the site and protect the infrastructure may be generated during a visit.
If you contact the project through the email address shown on the site, we may process the information included in your message together with the usual metadata of the email exchange.
Purposes and legal bases
Data may be processed to keep the website operational, answer requests, manage editorial or attribution issues and protect the technical security of the service.
Depending on context, legal bases may include consent, steps taken at the request of the data subject, legal obligations and legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
Retention
Emails and related documentation are kept for the time reasonably necessary to manage the request, preserve a working record and comply with any applicable legal obligations.
Technical or security logs depend on ordinary retention cycles applied by the hosting infrastructure and on integrity, abuse-prevention and troubleshooting needs.
Recipients, providers and transfers
The website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. It also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve technical transmission of IP-address data and related request data strictly needed to serve those assets.
Canarias Historia may load Google Analytics (G-LZWLFW6JTQ) only when you accept analytics through the cookie banner.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent whenever consent is the legal basis. Requests can be sent to info@canariashistoria.com.
If you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the competent supervisory authority.
