Rosana

Rosana Arbelo Gopar was born in Arrecife, Lanzarote, on 24 October 1963. Her official biography and CanariWiki agree on that basic datum and present her as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. The same sources place her musical learning in a large family setting, with a first guitar received in childhood and a later stage in Madrid to study solfège and guitar.

Before publishing as a performer, Rosana is already documented as a songwriter for other voices: El País records the 1994 victory of Fuego y miel, performed by Esmeralda Grao, at the Benidorm Festival.
