Rosana

Rosana Arbelo Gopar was born in Arrecife, Lanzarote, on 24 October 1963. A singer-songwriter and guitarist, she learned music in a large family setting, with a first guitar received in childhood and a later stage in Madrid to study solfège and guitar.

Before publishing as a performer, she was already writing for other voices: in 1994, Fuego y miel, performed by Esmeralda Grao, won the Benidorm Festival. In 1996, Lunas rotas and songs such as El talismán, A fuego lento and Si tú no estás gave her an international projection, with publication in more than thirty countries.

She is a contemporary Canarian cultural figure and a Lanzarote artist with public recognition, with a career spanning records, collaborations and music awards.
