Dacio Ferrera was a Canarian folk singer who performed on the television programme Tenderete during the 1980s.

Historical role

Dacio Ferrera was born in Arafo, Tenerife, on 24 April 1938. During the 1980s he performed several times on the programme Tenderete, within the television and stage circuits that disseminated Canarian folklore.

He carried out a public activity as a performer of traditional Canarian music, including a performance broadcast from San Cristóbal de La Laguna, and remains one of the representative voices of Tenerife folklore.
