Víctor Álamo de la Rosa

Víctor Álamo de la Rosa was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 29 October 1969 and spent his childhood in El Hierro, especially in El Pinar and La Restinga. He completed a degree in Hispanic Philology at the University of La Laguna in 1994.

His fiction keeps a sustained relationship with El Hierro as a literary territory. His bibliography includes novels and books such as El humilladero, El año de la seca, Campiro que, Terramores, La cueva de los leprosos, Isla nada, El pacto de las viudas and La ternura del caníbal.
