Dub group and studio project
The Conqueror Project, also referred to in its channels as The Conqueror or The Conquerors, is a Tenerife dub and reggae project based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with an active discography since Reality Check.
The project’s recording start is set with Reality Check (2012), released on Bandcamp, with Julio Armas, a producer based in Tenerife, as its creative core. Later releases such as Common Sense, Greetings, Dub Lab Vol I and DubLab Vol 2 consolidated studio work around dub. In 2025 it presented Kamikaze Politikz, its sixth studio album, recorded, mixed and mastered by Julio Armas at The Conqueror Studio in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Its inclusion broadens the section beyond folklore and shows a Canarian line of Jamaican music, dub and studio production. Kamikaze Politikz confirms a sustained trajectory and places the project within contemporary circuits of venues, independent labels and digital releases, with a sound identity explicitly linked to Tenerife.
The project works from dub, reggae and roots, with bass, drums, guitars, keyboards, percussion and mixing as a creative element. In Kamikaze Politikz the band combines English and Spanish lyrics, studio techniques, saxophone and flute collaboration, and a rhythmic foundation conceived as a sound laboratory.
Its immediate legacy is transmitted through Bandcamp, concerts and independent production. Its digital catalogue, presentations in venues such as Teatro Leal and releases on labels such as Lambada Records and Run Run Records connect music made in Tenerife with global reggae and dub listening networks.

Dub Lab Vol I and DubLab Vol 2 consolidate the sound-laboratory work.
It presents its sixth studio album in La Laguna, recorded at The Conqueror Studio.
