Sergio Rodríguez 'El Chacho' won the World Cup and European Championship with Spain, starred for Real Madrid and in the EuroLeague, and retired in 2024.
Sergio Rodríguez 'El Chacho', born in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, is one of the brightest Spanish point guards of his generation. His game combined creativity, passing, rhythm control and the ability to change matches from the playmaking role.
With Spain he won the World Cup and European Championship, and with clubs such as Real Madrid he reached the top of the EuroLeague. He also played in the NBA.
Retired in 2024, he represents Tenerife talent at the global elite of basketball.
