Canarias Historia is an educational and cultural initiative dedicated to preserving, disseminating and promoting the rich history of the Canary Islands. Through this new articles section, we will share knowledge pills about the history, language, nature, culture, archaeology and figures that have forged the identity of our archipelago.

Each article is backed by verified academic sources, drawn from a library of over fifty specialised publications. Our commitment is to offer rigorous yet accessible content that allows anyone to engage with the fascinating legacy of the Canary Islands.

Articles are published in four languages — Spanish, English, German and French — so that knowledge about the Canary Islands reaches the widest possible audience. Organised into six thematic categories, they cover everything from the pre-Hispanic era to the present day.
